Conner Investigative Services, LLC was founded in June 1983.
Owner and lead Investigator Grady Conner's investigation career began in 1966. Mr. Conner's investigative career began with military service when he attended the United States Military Police Academy in Fort Gordon, Georgia. Mr. Conner then was assigned to three years in Germany as a Military Policeman specializing in top secret Cryptographic Security.
Mr. Conner then joined the Catawba Country Sheriff's Department. During his twelve and a half year tenure with the Catawba County Sheriffs Department, Mr. Conner was promoted to Lieutenant, commanding the Narcotics Division. Mr. Conner was a state certified Law Enforcement Instructor, teaching various law enforcement courses throughout western North Carolina, including courses taught in the Basic Law Enforcement Training Program.
Mr. Conner earned an A.A.S. degree in Police Science and has obtained over 1900 hours of continuing education to include Basic Technical Security Concepts and Technical Surveillance Counter-Measures. Mr. Conner is considered an expert in the investigative field. He has been qualified as well as testified as an expert in stated and federal courts.
Mr. Conner is licensed as a Private Investigator and Counter Intelligence Specialist in North Carolina. Mr. Conner has satisfied the Academic and Professional Standards of the Criminal Defense Counsel Center for Investigative Studies and has been awarded the designation of Board Certified Criminal Defense Investigator.
Mr. Conner is a charter member of the North Carolina Association of Private Investigators. He served over seven years on the North Carolina Protective Services Board (licensing). During his tenure, he served on all of the sub-comittees and was elected Vice Chairman for two consecutive years.
